Hexetidine - Hexetidine is the medicinal ingredient in Sterisol, which is labelled for "the symptomatic treatment of "strep" throat, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, gingivitis, ulcerative stomatitis, oral thrush and Vincent's angina; postoperative hygiene following tonsillectomy, throat or oral surgery."

Cefaclor - Cefaclor (brand names Ceclor®, Raniclor®) is a 2nd generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria such as pneumonia and ear, lung, skin, throat, and urinary tract infections.

Rheumatic fever - Rheumatic fever is an inflammatory disease which may develop after a Group A streptococcal infection (such as strep throat or scarlet fever) and can involve the heart, joints, skin, and brain.
